Graduate Student Experiential Project Presentations

Join HU Learning Technologies Master of Science (LTMS) graduate students as they present their experiential projects. Each student will present a ‘final project’ during the April 20th event. The program will run from 3:00 PM – 6 PM, and is scheduled to occur in the Auditorium at the University The event is free and refreshments will be provided.

The experiential projects represent the culmination of the students’ work in the LTMS program and this is an opportunity for the community to witness the impact learning technologies can have on classroom education and corporate training. While the event is an important opportunity for the graduate students to showcase their work, It is an ideal event for the community to learn how the University’s graduate students are developing new approaches for learning, and identifying up-and-coming technologies and techniques that will shape the way learning is experienced in the future.

The current schedule of presenters is:

3 PM – 3:30 PM: Angela Rupert (Changing the Learning Medium: Challenges and Opportunities)

3:45 PM – 4:15 PM: Ted Gibbons (A Clickers Kit for 11th Grade Chemistry)

4:30 PM – 5:00 PM: Kevin Emery (NETS for Teachers through NETS for Students)

5:15 PM – 5:45 PM: Lisa Butler (A Digital Resource for Middle School Language Learning)

The event also provides the community with an opportunity to learn about the University’s Learning Technologies Master of Science (LTMS) program—the only graduate level program of its kind in the region. The LTMS program is a part-time or full-time 36 semester hour program that provides students with leading edge approaches and skills to help them apply existing and emerging learning technologies in a variety of learning environments.
